Free Open Access Medical Education (FOAMed) is a global movement to provide free, high-quality medical education through articles, blogs, podcasts, videos, and social media, amongst other channels. Originally born from Emergency Medicine (EM) and critical care communities, FOAMed aims to bridge gaps in medical education—especially in regions where formal EM training is limited or still developing.
The ISAEM FOAMed program is a collection of free EM resources, both original and curated. It is our contribution to this powerful movement, and our means of promoting EM as a discipline, overcoming educational and language barriers, and highlighting the amazing works of other FOAMed creators.
