Information on international opportunities for medical students is often fragmented and difficult to find. ISAEM wants to address this gap with a Student Opportunity Database (SOD)!
The ISAEM SOD connects medical students with international opportunities in Emergency Medicine (EM), including educational, clinical, research, and networking opportunities. These opportunities allow students to explore how EM is practiced globally, share perspectives from their home countries, and bring back valuable insights to advance EM practice and education in their own communities.
ISAEM members from across the world add local opportunities to the SOD, including information on the opportunity’s name, location, date, time, and/or duration, prerequisites and/or selection criteria, associated costs, contact information, relevant instructions, and more! This allows other medical students to identify and connect with international opportunities more easily, increasing EM accessibility.
